Stuffed Artichokes With Peas And Cream
Ingredients
- globe artichokes
- salt
- peas
- butter
- cream (optional)
Method
- 1 Boil globe artichokes in salted water until tender. Remove center leaves, leaving an even fringe on the outside, and remove the choke.
- 2 Place the prepared artichokes in a steamer to warm through.
- 3 Toss cooked peas in butter, then mix with cream if using.
- 4 Fill the center of each artichoke generously with the cream and pea mixture.
