Strawberry Liqueur Whipped Cream Pyramid
Ingredients
- 1 pint heavy cream
- Castor sugar, to taste (if using fresh strawberries)
- 3 tablespoons strawberry jam
- 2 tablespoons Maraschino liqueur
- Meringue biscuits, for garnish
Method
- 1 Place the cream on ice for two hours until very cold.
- 2 Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
- 3 Pass the strawberry jam through a sieve to remove seeds.
- 4 Mix the sieved jam and Maraschino liqueur into the whipped cream.
- 5 Spoon the mixture into a serving dish, building it into a pyramid shape.
- 6 Garnish with meringue biscuits and serve immediately.
