Strawberry Liqueur Whipped Cream Pyramid

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • Castor sugar, to taste (if using fresh strawberries)
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry jam
  • 2 tablespoons Maraschino liqueur
  • Meringue biscuits, for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Place the cream on ice for two hours until very cold.
  2. 2 Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. 3 Pass the strawberry jam through a sieve to remove seeds.
  4. 4 Mix the sieved jam and Maraschino liqueur into the whipped cream.
  5. 5 Spoon the mixture into a serving dish, building it into a pyramid shape.
  6. 6 Garnish with meringue biscuits and serve immediately.
