Strawberry Jam And Raspberry Gelatin Trifle
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 box raspberry gelatin
- 12-15 ladyfinger biscuits
- 4-6 ratafia cakes
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- 1 Spread a layer of strawberry jam on the bottom of a trifle dish.
- 2 Prepare gelatin according to package directions. Once set, break it into chunks and scatter over the jam.
- 3 Break ladyfingers and ratafia cakes into pieces. Layer them over the gelatin and pour milk over to soften.
- 4 Prepare a thick vanilla custard and spread it evenly over the cake layer.
- 5 Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the custard to serve.
