Strawberry Jam And Raspberry Gelatin Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 box raspberry gelatin
  • 12-15 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 4-6 ratafia cakes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. 1 Spread a layer of strawberry jam on the bottom of a trifle dish.
  2. 2 Prepare gelatin according to package directions. Once set, break it into chunks and scatter over the jam.
  3. 3 Break ladyfingers and ratafia cakes into pieces. Layer them over the gelatin and pour milk over to soften.
  4. 4 Prepare a thick vanilla custard and spread it evenly over the cake layer.
  5. 5 Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the custard to serve.
