  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cup tepid water
  • 1 cup white flour
  • Rye flour (enough to make a stiff dough)

Method

  1. 1 Dissolve yeast, sugar, and salt in tepid water.
  2. 2 Stir in white flour until smooth, then add rye flour to form a stiff dough.
  3. 3 Knead thoroughly for 15 minutes and let rise.
  4. 4 Shape into a loaf, place in a bread pan, and bake.
