  • onions, cut into pieces
  • carrots, cut into pieces
  • turnips, cut into pieces
  • celery, cut into pieces
  • thyme
  • pepper
  • salt

  • 1 quart water

Method

  1. 1 Fry steaks brown over high heat until not fully cooked.
