Stewed Oysters On Toast

Method
- 1 Open the oysters and place them in a stew pan with a lump of butter.
- 2 Create a thickening by mixing flour and water, then add salt and pepper.
- 3 Stir the thickening into the pan just as the oysters begin to boil.
- 4 Once cooked, transfer the oysters to a deep covered dish over buttered toast.
