Stewed Mutton And Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- 2 lbs mutton neck or other meat
- 1 large cabbage
- 3 lettuces
- 3 carrots
- 1 celery root
- 2 onions
- butter
Method
- 1 Make a strong broth using the mutton or meat.
- 2 Chop the cabbage, lettuces, carrots, celery root, and onions into small pieces.
- 3 Fry the chopped vegetables in butter.
- 4 Pour the broth over the vegetables a little at a time, cover tightly, and stew for at least 3 hours.
- 5 Serve the soup with the vegetables.
