Stewed Cod With Oysters And White Wine
Ingredients
- 1 cod fish, cut into thin slices
- 1 pint white wine
- ½ lb butter
- A few oysters, with their liquor
- Pepper and salt to taste
- Breadcrumbs
- Lemon, for garnish
Method
- 1 Place cod slices in a dish or pot.
- 2 Add white wine, butter, oysters with liquor, pepper, salt, and breadcrumbs.
- 3 Stew gently until the fish is cooked through.
- 4 Garnish with lemon before serving.
