Steeped Camomile Tea With Ginger
Ingredients
- 30 camomile flowers
- 1 pint boiling water
- Sugar or honey to taste
- 1 large dessert-spoonful moist sugar (optional)
- Grated ginger (optional)
Method
- 1 Place 30 camomile flowers into a jug.
- 2 Pour 1 pint of boiling water over the flowers.
- 3 Cover the jug and let it steep for 10 minutes.
- 4 Strain the liquid into another jug, discarding the flowers.
- 5 Sweeten with sugar or honey to taste.
- 6 Serve warm, optionally with a dessert-spoonful of sugar and grated ginger.
