Steamed Rosewater Almond Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup rosewater
- 1 pint milk
- 3 oz ground almonds
- sugar to taste
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1 oz butter, oiled
Method
- 1 Mix breadcrumbs, rosewater, milk, ground almonds, sugar, and beaten eggs.
- 2 Let the mixture soak for 30 minutes.
- 3 Turn into a buttered mold.
- 4 Steam the pudding for 1.5 to 2 hours.
