Steamed Oysters With Butter And Lemon
Ingredients
- oysters in the shell
- melted butter, lightly seasoned
- celery
- slice of lemon
Method
- 1 Scrub oysters in the shell and place in a colander over a pot of boiling water.
- 2 Cover closely until shells open and oysters start to curl.
- 3 Remove from steamer, lift off the flat shell, and serve in the deep shell with melted butter, celery, and a slice of lemon.
