Steamed Oatmeal Sago Pudding With Raisins
Ingredients
- 6 oz Allinson breakfast oats
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 oz soaked sago
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 oz sultanas
- 2 oz currants
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- sugar to taste
- 1 oz butter
Method
- 1 Mix the oats with the soaked sago in a bowl.
- 2 Add the beaten eggs, fruit, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and milk; stir well to combine.
- 3 Butter a pudding mould and pour the mixture into it.
- 4 Cover the mould with a cloth and steam the pudding for 3 hours.
