Steamed Molasses Graham Corn Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup Graham flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Method
- 1 Mix the Graham flour, wheat flour, and corn meal in a bowl.
- 2 Stir in the molasses, then add the milk and baking soda dissolved in a small amount of the milk.
- 3 Add a pinch of salt and mix until combined.
- 4 Pour into a greased mold and steam for three hours.
