Steamed Molasses Graham Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Graham flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. 1 Mix the Graham flour, wheat flour, and corn meal in a bowl.
  2. 2 Stir in the molasses, then add the milk and baking soda dissolved in a small amount of the milk.
  3. 3 Add a pinch of salt and mix until combined.
  4. 4 Pour into a greased mold and steam for three hours.
