Steamed Corned Beef Hash With Green Pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 lb corned beef, chopped very fine
  • 1 lb potatoes, chopped very fine
  • 1 green pepper, seeds and veins removed, chopped very fine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons stock or milk
  • Extra butter for topping

Method

  1. 1 Chop the corned beef, potatoes, and green pepper very fine together.
  2. 2 Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a blazer or double boiler over hot water.
  3. 3 Add the chopped ingredients and season to taste. Add stock or milk to moisten.
  4. 4 Cover and stir occasionally until heated through.
  5. 5 Dot with bits of butter, serve when melted, with olives or pickles.
