Steamed Corned Beef Hash With Green Pepper
Ingredients
- 1 lb corned beef, chopped very fine
- 1 lb potatoes, chopped very fine
- 1 green pepper, seeds and veins removed, chopped very fine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons stock or milk
- Extra butter for topping
Method
- 1 Chop the corned beef, potatoes, and green pepper very fine together.
- 2 Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a blazer or double boiler over hot water.
- 3 Add the chopped ingredients and season to taste. Add stock or milk to moisten.
- 4 Cover and stir occasionally until heated through.
- 5 Dot with bits of butter, serve when melted, with olives or pickles.
