Steamed Chocolate Souffle Pudding

  • 2 squares bitter chocolate, grated
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp hot water
  • ½ cup cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vanilla or cinnamon to flavor
  • Powdered sugar for garnish
  • Whipped cream for serving

Method

  1. 1 Cook chocolate, sugar, and hot water into a smooth paste.
  2. 2 Stir in cream and milk; bring to a boil.
  3. 3 Add yolks beaten with a little milk; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. 4 Fold in stiffly beaten whites, salt, and flavoring.
