Steamed Apple Shortcrust Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb apples
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- sugar to taste
- shortcrust pastry
Method
- 1 Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces.
- 2 Line a pudding basin with shortcrust pastry.
- 3 Fill the basin with the chopped apples, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- 4 Cover the top with another layer of pastry, sealing the edges.
- 5 Steam the pudding for 1 to 1.5 hours until cooked through.
