Squash Italienne With Salt Pork
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups prepared squash pulp
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons finely minced parsley
- 2 tablespoons finely minced onions
- 2 ounces salt pork, diced
Method
- 1 Mix squash pulp, salt, paprika, parsley, and onions thoroughly in a bowl.
- 2 Dice salt pork and brown it nicely in a pan.
- 3 Drain about half of the fat from the pan.
- 4 Add the squash mixture to the pan with the pork and heat through before serving.
