Spinach Beef Patties With Brown Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey (93% lean)
  • 16 ounces frozen chopped spinach (or 2 bunches fresh)
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3 cups cooked brown rice

Method

  1. 1 Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat without oil.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, combine ground meat, spinach, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3 Form the mixture into 12 small balls, then flatten them into patties using a spatula.
