Spinach And Brown Rice Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can spinach
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 3/4 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cup 1% milk
  • 3 tablespoons soft butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup diced onion

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2 Drain canned spinach to remove excess liquid.
  3. 3 Combine spinach with remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. 4 Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. 5 Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until set.
