Spiced Turnips With Sautéed Onions
Ingredients
- 1 lb turnips, peeled and boiled until tender
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Mixed spices (e.g., cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper)
Method
- 1 Boil peeled turnips in water until tender. Drain well.
- 2 Sauté chopped onion in olive oil until soft.
- 3 Add the cooked turnips to the onion and oil. Season with salt and mixed spices. Serve hot.
