Spiced Pickled Salmon

Ingredients

  • Boiled salmon
  • 1 dozen peppercorns
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Equal parts vinegar and fish boiling liquid

Method

  1. 1 Place the boiled salmon in a deep pan or pie dish.
  2. 2 Combine the fish boiling liquid, vinegar, peppercorns, salt, and bay leaves in a saucepan.
  3. 3 Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. 4 Allow the liquid to cool completely.
  5. 5 Pour the cold pickle over the salmon and let it sit overnight.
