Spiced Pickled Salmon
Ingredients
- Boiled salmon
- 1 dozen peppercorns
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 3 bay leaves
- Equal parts vinegar and fish boiling liquid
Method
- 1 Place the boiled salmon in a deep pan or pie dish.
- 2 Combine the fish boiling liquid, vinegar, peppercorns, salt, and bay leaves in a saucepan.
- 3 Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 4 Allow the liquid to cool completely.
- 5 Pour the cold pickle over the salmon and let it sit overnight.
