Spiced Pickled Nasturtium Berries

Ingredients

  • Nasturtium berries (young and full grown)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Vinegar
  • Mace blades
  • Whole black peppercorns

Method

  1. 1 Gather young, full-grown nasturtium berries and place them in a pot.
  2. 2 Pour boiling salted water over the berries and let them stand for three to four days.
  3. 3 Drain off the water, then cover the berries with cold vinegar.
  4. 4 Add a few blades of mace and whole grains of black pepper to the vinegar.
