Spiced Pickled Nasturtium Berries
Ingredients
- Nasturtium berries (young and full grown)
- Salt
- Water
- Vinegar
- Mace blades
- Whole black peppercorns
Method
- 1 Gather young, full-grown nasturtium berries and place them in a pot.
- 2 Pour boiling salted water over the berries and let them stand for three to four days.
- 3 Drain off the water, then cover the berries with cold vinegar.
- 4 Add a few blades of mace and whole grains of black pepper to the vinegar.
