Spiced Nutmeg Parmesan Potatoes
Ingredients
- potatoes, chopped fine
- butter
- pepper
- salt
- paprika
- nutmeg
- Parmesan cheese
- melted butter
Method
- 1 Chop potatoes fine and place in a saucepan with butter, pepper, salt, paprika, and a trace of nutmeg.
- 2 Cover and cook very slowly, agitating constantly until soft. Beat well.
- 3 Arrange layers of potatoes and Parmesan cheese in a vegetable dish, ending with cheese on top.
- 4 Pour melted butter over all and bake for 20 minutes in a slow oven (300°F).
