Spiced Fruit Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 2 oz. stick cinnamon
- 12 allspice berries
- 6 whole cloves
- ½ cup vinegar
Method
- 1 Combine corn syrup, cinnamon stick, allspice berries, cloves, and vinegar in a saucepan.
- 2 Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
- 3 Add fruit and cook slowly for 20 minutes until the fruit is clear and the syrup thickens.
