Spiced Eggnog With Rum And Brandy
Ingredients
- Eggs, separated
- Bar sugar
- ½ jigger rum
- ½ jigger brandy
- Hot water
- Nutmeg, grated
Method
- 1 Separate the eggs and beat the whites to stiff peaks.
- 2 Beat the yolks until very thin, then mix with bar sugar until stiff.
- 3 Fill a mug one-quarter full with the batter.
- 4 Add ½ jigger rum and ½ jigger brandy, then stir well.
- 5 Fill the mug with hot water, stir again, and grate nutmeg on top.
