Spiced Eggnog With Rum And Brandy

Ingredients

  • Eggs, separated
  • Bar sugar
  • ½ jigger rum
  • ½ jigger brandy
  • Hot water
  • Nutmeg, grated

Method

  1. 1 Separate the eggs and beat the whites to stiff peaks.
  2. 2 Beat the yolks until very thin, then mix with bar sugar until stiff.
  3. 3 Fill a mug one-quarter full with the batter.
  4. 4 Add ½ jigger rum and ½ jigger brandy, then stir well.
  5. 5 Fill the mug with hot water, stir again, and grate nutmeg on top.
