Spiced Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 lb sugar
• 2 lb flour
• pounded spice (to taste)
• 4 eggs
• ¾ lb melted butter

Method

1. 1 Sift together the sugar, flour, and pounded spice.
2. 2 Beat the eggs and pour them into the dry ingredients along with the melted butter.
3. 3 Knead the mixture well until it forms a cohesive dough.
4. 4 Shape into balls and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until set.
