Spiced Bread Pudding With Lemon
Ingredients
- 1 pint bread crumbs
- Milk to cover crumbs
- 1 lemon peel
- Grated nutmeg
- 1 small piece cinnamon
- Powdered sugar to taste
- 4 eggs
Method
- 1 Place bread crumbs, milk, lemon peel, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a stew-pan. Boil for 10 minutes.
- 2 Remove from heat, discard cinnamon, and sweeten with powdered sugar.
- 3 Beat in the four eggs until well combined.
- 4 Bake for 30 minutes or boil for over an hour until set.
