Sparkling Raspberry Cherry Punch
Ingredients
- 1 box raspberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
- Liquid from 1 bottle of maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup prepared raspberry syrup (per serving)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (per serving)
- 1/2 cup crushed ice (per serving)
- Carbonated water (per serving)
Method
- 1 Combine raspberries, water, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until fruit is soft.
- 2 Rub the mixture through a fine sieve to create a smooth syrup. Stir in chopped cherries and their liquid.
- 3 To serve, add 1/2 cup syrup, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and 1/2 cup crushed ice to a tall glass.
- 4 Top with carbonated water and serve immediately.
