Sour Milk English Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ cups sour milk
- 1 tsp baking soda
Method
- 1 Sift together flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- 2 Dissolve baking soda in sour milk, then mix thoroughly into the dry ingredients.
- 3 Place greased muffin rings on a hot, greased griddle. Fill rings halfway.
- 4 Bake slowly for 15 minutes. Turn with a cake turner when the inner side is browned.
