Sour Milk English Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups sour milk
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Method

  1. 1 Sift together flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2 Dissolve baking soda in sour milk, then mix thoroughly into the dry ingredients.
  3. 3 Place greased muffin rings on a hot, greased griddle. Fill rings halfway.
  4. 4 Bake slowly for 15 minutes. Turn with a cake turner when the inner side is browned.
