Sour Milk Corn Muffins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 cup thick sour milk

Method

  1. 1 Sift together cornmeal, flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar.
  2. 2 Mix in the beaten egg and sour milk until combined.
  3. 3 Pour into well-buttered muffin tins.
  4. 4 Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
