Sour Milk Buckwheat Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups thick sour milk
- 1 tsp salt
- buckwheat flour (enough to make a thin batter)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp lukewarm water
Method
- 1 Combine sour milk and salt in a bowl. Gradually stir in buckwheat flour until a thin batter forms.
- 2 Let the batter stand overnight in the refrigerator.
- 3 Dissolve baking soda in lukewarm water, then stir into the batter and beat thoroughly.
- 4 Fry spoonfuls of batter on a hot griddle immediately until golden brown.
