Sour Milk Buckwheat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups thick sour milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • buckwheat flour (enough to make a thin batter)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp lukewarm water

Method

  1. 1 Combine sour milk and salt in a bowl. Gradually stir in buckwheat flour until a thin batter forms.
  2. 2 Let the batter stand overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. 3 Dissolve baking soda in lukewarm water, then stir into the batter and beat thoroughly.
  4. 4 Fry spoonfuls of batter on a hot griddle immediately until golden brown.
