Sour Cream Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons melted Crisco
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking pan with Crisco.
- 2 In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, and salt. Stir in melted Crisco and beaten eggs.
- 3 Mix baking soda into the sour cream, then combine with the dry mixture until well blended.
- 4 Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes.
