Soft Scrambled Eggs On Toast
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 oz butter
- 1 ½ tbsp water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 slices buttered toast
Method
- 1 Whip the eggs well. Add 1 ½ tbsp water, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 2 Heat butter in a frying pan over mild heat. Add eggs and stir constantly with a knife.
- 3 Remove from heat when uniformly thick but not hard. Do not overcook.
- 4 Place stirred eggs on hot buttered toast and serve immediately on a hot dish.
