Soft Scrambled Eggs On Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 ½ tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 slices buttered toast

Method

  1. 1 Whip the eggs well. Add 1 ½ tbsp water, salt, and pepper to taste.
  2. 2 Heat butter in a frying pan over mild heat. Add eggs and stir constantly with a knife.
  3. 3 Remove from heat when uniformly thick but not hard. Do not overcook.
  4. 4 Place stirred eggs on hot buttered toast and serve immediately on a hot dish.
