Smoky Mustard Maple Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain or Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika or ground chipotle pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 16 ounces salmon (skinless, about 4 ounces per fillet)

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and coat with cooking spray.
  2. 2 In a small bowl, combine mustard, maple syrup, paprika, pepper, and salt.
  3. 3 Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and spread the mustard mixture evenly over them.
  4. 4 Roast until just cooked through, approximately 8 to 12 minutes.
