Slow Cooker Cheesy Beef Steak
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef round roast (1-inch thick)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup American cheese, shredded
Method
- 1 Cut the beef roast into 4 pieces.
- 2 Mix the flour and salt in a small bowl.
- 3 Coat each piece of meat on all sides with the flour mixture.
- 4 Place the meat in a crock pot.
- 5 Add the chopped carrots, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce.
- 6 Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
- 7 Just before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
