Slow Cooker Cheesy Beef Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef round roast (1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup American cheese, shredded

Method

  1. 1 Cut the beef roast into 4 pieces.
  2. 2 Mix the flour and salt in a small bowl.
  3. 3 Coat each piece of meat on all sides with the flour mixture.
  4. 4 Place the meat in a crock pot.
  5. 5 Add the chopped carrots, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce.
  6. 6 Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  7. 7 Just before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
