Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef round, sliced
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ground cloves to taste
  • Mushroom catsup

Method

  1. 1 Cut beef round into small slices and place in a pot.
  2. 2 Cover with a can of tomatoes, add chopped onion, salt, pepper, and powdered cloves.
  3. 3 Cook slowly, covered, until the meat is tender.
  4. 4 Stir in a little mushroom catsup and serve.
