Slow-Baked Chocolate Almond Macaroons
Ingredients
- 2 oz almonds, chopped fine
- 3 egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks
- 6 oz sugar
- 1.5 oz grated chocolate
Method
- 1 Beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Stir in sugar and grated chocolate.
- 2 Fold in chopped almonds.
- 3 Bake in a cool oven (300°F) until set.
