Skillet Beef And Thinly Sliced Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 12 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup Eating Smart Seasoning Mix
- salt to taste, optional
Method
- 1 Wash and peel the potatoes, then thinly slice them.
- 2 Brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain the fat.
- 3 Add water, sliced potatoes, and seasoning mix to the beef; stir to combine.
- 4 Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-30 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- 5 Uncover and cook until excess water has evaporated.
- 6 Taste and add salt if needed, then serve.
