Simple Simmered Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oatmeal
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 cup hot water
- moist sugar or salt and butter
Method
- 1 Mix 2 tbsp oatmeal with ¼ cup cold water to form a smooth paste.
- 2 Pour the mixture into a saucepan containing 1 cup of hot water.
- 3 Stir constantly over low heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes.
- 4 Sweeten with sugar or serve with salt and butter.
