Simple Baked Tapioca With Stewed Fruit
Ingredients
- 1 oz small-pearl tapioca
- 1/2 pint milk
- sugar to taste
- water for soaking
Method
- 1 Place tapioca in a pie dish and soak in a small amount of water for 30 minutes. Drain any excess water.
- 2 Pour milk over the soaked tapioca and add sugar to taste.
- 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until thoroughly cooked and thickened.
- 4 Serve warm with or without stewed fruit.
