Simple Baked Tapioca With Stewed Fruit

Ingredients

  • 1 oz small-pearl tapioca
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • sugar to taste
  • water for soaking

Method

  1. 1 Place tapioca in a pie dish and soak in a small amount of water for 30 minutes. Drain any excess water.
  2. 2 Pour milk over the soaked tapioca and add sugar to taste.
  3. 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until thoroughly cooked and thickened.
  4. 4 Serve warm with or without stewed fruit.
