Simmered Veal With Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- Veal, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Little water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Little nutmeg
- Juice of half a lemon
- Yolk of an egg or little flour
Method
- 1 Cut veal into 1-inch pieces. Place in a pan with a little water, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- 2 Simmer for two hours until the meat is tender.
- 3 Stir in the juice of half a lemon.
- 4 Bind the sauce with an egg yolk or a little flour. Serve immediately.
