Simmered Veal With Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • Veal, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Little water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Little nutmeg
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Yolk of an egg or little flour

Method

  1. 1 Cut veal into 1-inch pieces. Place in a pan with a little water, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  2. 2 Simmer for two hours until the meat is tender.
  3. 3 Stir in the juice of half a lemon.
  4. 4 Bind the sauce with an egg yolk or a little flour. Serve immediately.
