Shrimp Creole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shelled shrimp
  • 1 heaping tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, bruised
  • 1 cup canned tomatoes
  • Salt and cayenne to taste
  • 1/2 cup French peas

Method

  1. 1 In a saucepan, heat butter, chopped onion, and bruised garlic until fragrant.
  2. 2 Add shrimp and canned tomatoes. Season with salt and cayenne.
  3. 3 Cook for 10 minutes, then stir in French peas just before serving.
