Shrimp Creole
Ingredients
- 2 cups shelled shrimp
- 1 heaping tablespoon butter
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, bruised
- 1 cup canned tomatoes
- Salt and cayenne to taste
- 1/2 cup French peas
Method
- 1 In a saucepan, heat butter, chopped onion, and bruised garlic until fragrant.
- 2 Add shrimp and canned tomatoes. Season with salt and cayenne.
- 3 Cook for 10 minutes, then stir in French peas just before serving.
