  • 24 slices bread and butter
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 small lettuce
  • 1 bunch cress
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • pepper and salt

Method

  1. 1 Shred the tomatoes, lettuce, and cress finely.
  2. 2 Mix the shredded vegetables with salad oil, vinegar, pepper, and salt.
  3. 3 Spread a little of the salad mixture onto half of the bread slices.
  4. 4 Cover with the remaining bread slices, press together, and trim neatly.
