Shredded Vegetable Salad Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 24 slices bread and butter
- 2 small tomatoes
- 1 small lettuce
- 1 bunch cress
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- pepper and salt
Method
- 1 Shred the tomatoes, lettuce, and cress finely.
- 2 Mix the shredded vegetables with salad oil, vinegar, pepper, and salt.
- 3 Spread a little of the salad mixture onto half of the bread slices.
- 4 Cover with the remaining bread slices, press together, and trim neatly.
