Shortbread Cookies With Butter
Ingredients
- ½ lb butter
- ½ lb granulated sugar
- 6 oz flour
- 1 egg
Method
- 1 Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- 2 Add the well-beaten egg and mix until combined.
- 3 Stir in the flour until a dough forms.
- 4 Knead the dough briefly, then roll it out on a floured surface.
- 5 Cut into small rounds and place on a greased baking sheet.
- 6 Bake in a 350°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
