Shortbread Cookies With Butter

Ingredients

• ½ lb butter
• ½ lb granulated sugar
• 6 oz flour
• 1 egg

Method

1. 1 Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. 2 Add the well-beaten egg and mix until combined.
3. 3 Stir in the flour until a dough forms.
4. 4 Knead the dough briefly, then roll it out on a floured surface.
5. 5 Cut into small rounds and place on a greased baking sheet.
6. 6 Bake in a 350°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
