Sherry Mushrooms On Toast
Ingredients
- very large fresh mushrooms
- oil or butter
- pepper
- salt
- thin slices of toast
- sherry or white wine
- minced parsley
- lemon juice
Method
- 1 Peel and trim the very large fresh mushrooms.
- 2 Fry the mushrooms in oil or butter seasoned with pepper and salt.
- 3 Serve the mushrooms on small thin slices of toast.
- 4 Place a teaspoonful of sherry or white wine on each mushroom, or use minced parsley and lemon juice instead.
