Sherry Macaroon Trifle With Cherries
Ingredients
- 1 pint heavy cream, well beaten
- Sugar and flavoring to taste
- ¼ pound macaroons, soaked in sherry
- Preserved cherries
- Whole almonds
Method
- 1 Soak macaroons in sherry for a few minutes.
- 2 Beat cream until stiff, then mix in sugar and flavoring to taste.
- 3 In a deep dish, layer the soaked macaroons and the whipped cream.
- 4 Garnish with preserved cherries and whole almonds before serving.
