Sherry Crab Dip On Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped celery
  • 1 tsp flour
  • ½ cup cream or milk
  • 1 can crab meat
  • 1 tbsp sherry
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • Toast or biscuits

Method

  1. 1 Melt butter in a chafing dish or saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2 Add chopped celery and flour, stirring to combine.
  3. 3 Pour in cream or milk and stir until the mixture thickens and moisture evaporates.
  4. 4 Stir in crab meat, sherry, salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat through.
  5. 5 Spread the crab mixture onto toasted biscuits or thin slices of toast and serve immediately.
