Sherry Crab Dip On Toast
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp chopped celery
- 1 tsp flour
- ½ cup cream or milk
- 1 can crab meat
- 1 tbsp sherry
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika to taste
- Toast or biscuits
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a chafing dish or saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Add chopped celery and flour, stirring to combine.
- 3 Pour in cream or milk and stir until the mixture thickens and moisture evaporates.
- 4 Stir in crab meat, sherry, salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat through.
- 5 Spread the crab mixture onto toasted biscuits or thin slices of toast and serve immediately.
