Shaved Ice Rum Cocktail With Curaçao

Ingredients

• 2/3 cup shaved ice
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 1/4 teaspoons lemon juice
• 3/4 teaspoon Curaçao liqueur
• 1 1/2 ounces Jamaica rum
• Plain soda water

Method

1. 1 Fill a large bar glass two-thirds full with shaved ice.
2. 2 Add sugar, lemon juice, Curaçao, and rum to the glass.
3. 3 Shake the mixture well, then strain into a tall, thin glass.
4. 4 Top with plain soda water, stir gently, and serve immediately.
