Shad Roe Salad With Cucumber And Olives
Ingredients
- shad roe
- 1 slice onion
- salted water
- acidulated water
- French dressing
- cucumber, diced
- chopped olives
- mayonnaise
- peppers, for garnish
- lettuce leaves, for serving
Method
- 1 Cook the roe with a slice of onion in salted, acidulated water for 20 minutes.
- 2 Drain, cool, and cut the roe into slices.
- 3 Sprinkle the roe with French dressing.
- 4 Add cucumber dice and chopped olives.
- 5 Mix with mayonnaise, garnish with peppers, and serve on lettuce leaves.
