Sautéed Zucchini With Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter or cooking oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 pounds zucchini, sliced
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (peeled) or 16 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 tsp salt
- black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
Method
- 1 Wash hands. Melt butter or oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Add onion and garlic; cook until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- 3 Add zucchini, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar. Cover and reduce heat.
- 4 Cook until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
